Abstract Submission Guidelines

  1. To submit your abstract, fill in your particulars and submit it via the online form (to be furnished separately).
  2. Submission guidelines:
    • Ensure the abstract is well-written in English. No proofreading will be provided; please check your grammar before submission.
    • Obtain approval from all co-authors before listing their names.
    • Keep the word count within 300 words.
    • Use single spacing.
    • Set margins at 1”.
    • Use 12 pt Calibri font.
    • Follow the provided abstract format template.
    • Include these six components:
      • Title – Use title case (capitalize major words).
      • Author Names with Affiliations
        • Format: Surname with initials.
        • Include the University/Institute name and address.
        • For multiple authors, underline and bold the presenting author’s name and include their email address.
      • Background and Objective – State the study’s hypothesis and objectives.
      • Method – Detail the experimental methods used.
      • Results and Discussion – Present and interpret your findings.
      • Conclusion – Summarize the significance and implications of the study.
  3. Indicate which discipline your abstract fits best from ONE of the following:
    • Hospital Pharmacy
    • Community Pharmacy
    • Pharmacy Practice
    • Pharmaceutical Science
    • Pharmaceutical Industries
    • Pharmacy Education
    • Pharmacy Regulatory/ Enforcement
    • Digital/ AI in Pharmacy
    • Precision Health
    • Military Pharmacy
  4. No figures or tables should be included.
  5. No references are required.
  6. Only abstracts submitted online in WORD format (not PDF) will be accepted.
  7. The closing date for submission is 30th May 2025 at 5:00 pm Malaysia time.
  8. Abstracts will be accepted for presentation and publication in the Digital Book only if the presenting author is registered and has paid for the National Pharmacists Convention 2025. Unregistered or unpaid abstracts will be disqualified.
  9. More details on journal publication will follow after abstract acceptance. Only abstracts meeting the Malaysian Journal of Pharmacy (MJP) requirements will be published:
    • Plagiarism rate below 25%
    • Compliance with the format
    • Positive recommendations from independent reviewers

Oral Presentation Guidelines

  1. Presenters have a strict 10-minute limit. Exceeding this duration will result in termination of the presentation.
  2. Viewing facilities will be available online during the Convention.
  3. Selected presenters will participate in a 5-minute fire-up session to succinctly showcase their findings. Top presentations will receive awards.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

  1. The poster should be A1 size.
  2. Layout must be in Portrait orientation.
  3. Recommended poster specifications:
    • Resolution: 1080p (1920x1080 pixels).
    • Font size: 16pt or larger.
    • Fonts: Calibri, Arial, or Times New Roman.
  4. Viewing facilities will be available online during the congress.
  5. Awards will be given to the best poster presenter.
